Counter Sales- Wagga Wagga

Primary Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing excellent service and addressing inquiries about products and services
• Assist customers in selecting products, explaining features, benefits, and specifications to meet their needs
• Maintain and update customer / product data base
• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, card, and other payment methods, and ensure proper documentation of sales orders
• Maintain a clean, visually appealing sales counter and store area
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock, ensuring accurate quantities and quality standards
• Maintain knowledge of product catalog, industry trends, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets and meeting operational goals

Skills Required

• Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role
• Vocational training preferred not essential
• Intermediate computer skills
• Good level of communication and rapport building skills
