About the Role:

As a Locomotive Driver Trainer, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of rail professionals! Deliver and assess structured, hands-on training programs for both Trainee Locomotive Drivers and experienced train crew, helping them achieve the highly coveted L4 Locomotive Driver status. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to shape, inspire, and lead the future of rail in Australia.
  
Are you a driven leader with a passion for rail safety and performance?

Here’s what you will need to succeed:
  
- Certificate IV in Locomotive Driving (TLI42622 or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Current safeworking qualification
- Proven experience as a Driver Trainer in mainline heavy rail environments
- Class C unrestricted driver licence
- Current CAT 1 Rail medical certification or able to obtain
- Strong commitment to safety, backed by a positive, can-do attitude
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills—both verbal and written
- Expertise in train management techniques to ensure smooth and safe operations
