Position Overview: As a Locomotive Driver or Driver Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our rail operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you excel in your role and grow within our company

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate locomotives safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist the driver in the operation and management of the train
• Conduct pre-departure checks and ensure the train is in optimal working condition
• Communicate effectively with the control and other crew members
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as required
• Ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods

Requirements:

• A Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong understanding of rail safety and operational procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
