Meat Processing General Labourers/Packers

Our leading meat processing client based in Dandenong South and Knox are currently in need of general Labourers/packers. 

About the role:

• Stacking cartons on Pallets 
• Manual lifting up to 28kg
• Have experience in or be eager to train and work in various areas of meat processing
• Be comfortable working in a production, boning room or slaughter floor environment including handling raw meat and animal bi-products
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced physical role with a focus on safety and quality
• Have a willingness to learn and perform labouring duties such as trimming, packing, weighing, labelling, machine operating, manual handling and cleaning
• General Pick packing
• Tugger operating

Requirements:

In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Have availability for full-time employment, Monday to Friday
• Have access to reliable transport
• Able to work in Cold storage
• Be reliable, committed, punctual, willing to learn and have a positive attitude
