Trojan Recruitment Group is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with ASC, Australia’s Submarine Company, recently appointed as the sustainer and joint-builder of Australia’s conventionally armed nuclear-powered submarines.
  
With growth domestically and internationally, ASC have immediate career opportunities available for trade qualified candidates.
  
We are looking for people with qualifications, skills and experience in the following roles:

• Electricians
• Mechanical Fitters
• Boilermaker Welders
• Structural Welders
• Pipe Welders
• Operator / Riggers

You will start your career at the ASC’s base in Henderson or Garden Island in Perth, maintaining the Collins Class Submarines. If suitable and eligible, there is an opportunity for skilled people to consider relocating to the United States at Pearl Harbour in Hawaii for a 2-3 year training program like no other, before turning to a long-term career in Australia.
  
If eligible for an international opportunity, you will be working with cutting edge nuclear technology and undertaking world class training that will offer career progression in the conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarine program (Australia’s largest-ever industrial endeavour).
  
Please note that international deployment is not guaranteed, rather we are looking for people who are open to the opportunity if presented by ASC.
  
What we need from you:   

• Qualifications in one of the above listed trades
• A minimum of 5 years trade work experience
• Experience in the defence industry is highly desirable, but not essential
• Be an Australian Citizen
• Be willing to live and work overseas in the United States for between 12 months and 3 years, depending on the role
• Be eligible for an NV1 Level Australian Defence Security Clearance
• Current Australian drivers’ licence and reliable transport
