There is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in either a casual ( temp to perm for the right person) or permanent Part- time, 3 days a week, full time roles.
Main Accountabilities
Payroll Processing
- Delivering high quality and timely customer service to all staff, resolving all payroll issues
- Processing timesheets and sourcing documents necessary to ensure staff are accurately and timely paid.
- Process weekly / monthly payroll including accuracy of all entries incl: tax, Super and other legislation relating to pay rolling staff
- Month end reports and reconciliation including Superannuation
- Process monthly disbursements
- Manage queries fro government agencies i.e. child support.
- managing audit trail and data storage
- maintain confidentiality /payroll records
- Assist with Financial year end processing
- Provide support and training in the payroll employee self - service application.
- Assist with administration of Kronos when required to ensure all timecards are calculating correctly.
- Ensure all timecards are signed off by relevant supervisors and export file is ready within the required time frame
- Assist with entering / importing new hires into the system
- Assist with entering changes , statuses including position changes cost centre changes
- Assist with training to end users on functionality of Kronos
- Identify trends and implement process improvements in Kronos and payroll administration
- Participate in HR projects as required
- Minimum 2 years in payroll
- Technical knowledge of Australian payroll
- Experience in procedures and documentation auditing
- Payroll software experience desirable - Preceda and Kronos
