- Safely operate trains in accordance within company regulations and federal laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the locomotive is in proper working order
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, station personnel, and other drivers
- Respond promptly to any changes in route, delays, or emergencies
- Work collaboratively with onboard staff and assist in any onboard tasks as required
- Continuously update knowledge of rail routes, signals, and safety regulations
- Broken Hill to Mallalla Service
- We have positions available for upcoming roles in 2024

Requirements for Role
- Possess a Certificate IV in Train Driving
- Ability to pass all preliminary checks, including a CAT 1 Rail Medical
- National code of practice safeworking
- Australian Working Rights
- Own an unrestricted Class C driver’s license
- Knowledge of South Australian regional routes
- Resonate with Trojan Rail's safety standards and values
