Work Duties – Rail Corridor Maintenance:

Trojan Rail works with a Queensland Rail Corridor Maintenance team and you will be part of the station maintenance team using mowers, brush cutters, blowers, completing graffiti removal and tree trimming.

Rail Mandatory Competencies Requirements

You must have:
  • Current RIW (Rail Industry Workers Card
  • Current SARC (Qld) accreditation – Safely Access Rail Corridor
  • Current WET accreditation (Qld) – Working in Electrified Territory 
  • Current Cat 3 Rail Medical Current Network Lockout Accreditation
About the role:

You will be employed on a casual basis on Monday to Friday shifts through this assignment, working in the Queensland Rail corridor as part of a Queensland Rail Corridor Maintenance team.

Other Essential Requirements:
  • Experience & knowledge as detailed in Work Duties above
  • Driver’s Licence & vehicle
  • Good team player
  • Strong work ethic with no attendance issues
  • Willing to be subject to regular / random drug & alcohol testing
  • Physically fit
  • Work Rights – Australian work rights required for eligibility
