TA / Factory Hand

About the role:

• Local work in Bassendean Engineering Workshop.
• Fettling - removing sharp edges from castings using a grinder
• Using power tools – grinders, drills
• Priming ceramic wear plate and basic assembly.
• Putting rubber liners on ceramic block
• General TA duties within an engineering workshop environment.
• Assisting boilermakers & welders
• Dayshift $33.00 per/hr + penalties (6:00AM – 14:00PM).
• Immediate Start.
• Ongoing work.

Skills & Experience:

• High Risk Work Licence – LF (Desirable)
• Ability to do repetitive work in a production environment.
• Ability to work autonymically.
• Ability to do manual lifting as a main task.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol test.
• Ability to work safely in a fast paced production environment.
• Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing workshop environment desirable.
• Current Driver’s License and Reliable transport.
• Current resume with two contactable work references.
