About the Role
We are seeking experienced Wagon Maintainers or Driver Assistants looking for a lifestyle roster to join our team in Greta, NSW. As a Wagon Maintainer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of rail wagons to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain rail wagons, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
• Perform scheduled servicing, component replacement, and modifications as required
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on wagon components, including brakes, couplings, and suspension systems
• Safely communicate using radios in a rail environment
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment
• Shunting experience is desirable but not essential.

Requirements – What You Need to Succeed:

• Rail CAT 1 Medical Clearance (including musculoskeletal test)
• Australian Driver’s License (no restrictions)
• White Card
• Relevant TLI Unit Statements of Attainment aligned with the role
• LF Forklift Licence
• HR Vehicle Licence
• Valid National Police Clearance (with no court outcomes)
• Experience in rail wagon repairs and maintenance
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and all-weather environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Highly Regarded (Desirable but Not Essential:

• First Aid Certificate
